AD99 Solutions Foundation Launches ‘Mental Flex Forum’

FREE VIRTUAL EDUCATION SERIES CONNECTING PITTSBURGH STUDENT-ATHLETES TO

SPORTS BUSINESS THOUGHT LEADERS

NFL veteran Aaron Donald’s AD99 Solutions Foundation announces the launch of its ‘Mental Flex Form,’ a series of free, virtual education sessions to help Pittsburgh-area student-athletes maintain a winner’s mindset off-the-field.

The seven-week series will be led by thought-leaders from the worlds of sports, business, government, the arts, and philanthropy. Each session will be limited to 30 students and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration for each installment will be announced weekly on the Foundation’s social media platforms.

“Education and empowerment are at the core of our Foundation’s mission,’ said AD99 Solutions Foundation Executive Director Akita Donald. “Due to COVID-19, many Pittsburgh-area students— especially those from disadvantaged communities—have limited academic outlets. The Foundation wanted to use its resources to provide students with a learning experience they won’t find anywhere else.”

The first series installment will be hosted by Aaron Donald. His presentation, entitled ‘The Mind of a Successful Student-Athlete,’ will provide attendees with tips and tools to mirror Aaron’s on- and off-the-field vision for success.

Future session topics will include physical/mental health and wellness, social capital, gender equality, volunteerism and advocacy, and career and personal development.
