COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

The Community Engagement program consists of events, projects, and initiatives that aim to support communities through education, advocacy, and resource allocation by partnering with national companies, local businesses, schools, and organizations with similar interests in empowering youth.

The following are the various services provided through the Community Engagement program:

LIVING IN THE POCKET SKILLS CAMP

is an annual camp for youth ages 6 to 18. The camp provides a unique opportunity to bring youths and their caregivers together for a fun, safe, and engaging day of learning from prominent NFL players, area trainers, and coaches.

LIVING IN THE POCKET
COACHES CLINIC

is a professional development program for youth coaches. The trauma-informed, interactive curriculum addresses the unique needs of youth in under-resourced communities.

In addition to the services listed above, the Community Engagement program has hosted workshops for student-athletes and their caregivers, educating them on subject matters related to financial literacy, Name, Image and Likeness (NIL), and nutritional health. Through community partnerships, we’ve participated in back-to-school and holiday drives.
